A collaborative project between Cranbrook Academy of Art and Swarowski.

Often, crystals merely serve as decoration. The aim of the presented crystal clock design was to preserve the decorative value while at the same time displaying information in a consumer electronic device. Every hour another crystal lights up, thereby becoming more than a simple decorative element.
