And Everything Nice

This day was so totally amazing it’s hard to put into words. The awsomeness started when I got my schedule for Japan! It’s going to be an incredible trip: interesting lectures, Ikebana, Tea Ceremony, a trip to the Diet (congress), shrines, origami making, wind bell painting, Honda Factory, Tsuda women’s college, Panasonic center, drum concert, home stay with a Japanese family, Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, meeting with an A-bomb survivor and ending with a visit to Kyoto. I cannot wait!

Also… today I got to meet Yoshitomo Nara!
His show (Nara+Graf) at the Reykjavík Art Museum opened today and it’s absolutely amazing! He autographed my puff head and drew a little farting dog doodle. Very, very adorable.
