I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve never read the book but I’ve always been more than fascinated with the illustrations. I saw the movie the other night, I liked it. Don’t know exactly what to make of it, a children’s story with a lot of anger and deceit and not really leaving you with any answers. Perhaps it’s not supposed to. Costumes, set design and special effects were absolutely amazing and so was the leading actor Max Records (funny name) only 13 years old. I’m definitely going to get a hold on the book!
